How it works
The hire period for our birth pools is from the 37th week of your pregnancy for six weeks – 3 weeks before estimated due date and three weeks after.
Hire of a pool is £145 no matter which size pool you choose. We also ask for a £120 security deposit that is returned to you once we have collected, inspected and cleaned the pool.
Delivery and collection of our birth pools are free to any address on the Isle of Wight.
When you book with us, we will spend time with you going through the set up and pack down of the pool, so you are confident about it all before baby decides it’s time to make an appearance.
Once baby has arrived we will arrange for the pool to be collected on a day which is convenient for you.
If you’re unsure about whether you can set up a birth pool in your home, we will come to you for a free, no obligation chat and to look at the space you have.
Hello, we are James and Alissia… partners in life as well as business!
Alissia found birthing in the comfort of our own home, being submerged in water during labour, the most awesome experience.
We want to help more families achieve this too if it’s their desire!

What happens if I have to cancel my hire?
We know that labour and birth can throw you a curve-ball and that your plans can change. If this were to occur, you need to have confidence that the services that you are relying upon for your ideal birth are also flexible and can respond positively to any changes that may occur. In pursuit of this, we have explained our hire cancellation policy as clearly as we are able –
- Pool hire cancelled 2 weeks or more before delivery – full refund.
- Pool hire cancelled more than 1 week before delivery – 50% refund
- Pool hire cancelled the week delivery is to take place – 25% refund
- Pool hire cancelled after delivery has been made – your hire has begun and no further refunds for your pool hire will be made.
We do not offer refunds or partial refunds for hire pools returned unused or returned prior to the end of the 6-week hire period. Our hire charges cover the whole 6-week hire to you and we assume that during this period, it is not available for others to hire.
Where should I set up the birth pool?
